CATEGORIES
Each category pre-loads specialized style parameters that tell the AI what kind of visual aesthetic, lighting, and subject matter to expect.
PLATFORMS
JOVON optimizes prompts differently for each platform. Each tool has its own style, strengths, and prompt syntax. Choosing the right platform makes a significant difference in your results.
Not all platforms produce the same results from the same prompt. If you don't love the output, try the same description on a different platform.
WRITING PROMPTS
You don't need to be a prompt engineer. Just describe what you want to see. JOVON adds all the technical language automatically.
What works well
Short, specific, visual descriptions. Focus on the subject and the action:
"a lion stalking prey at golden hour"
"DNA strand unraveling in slow motion"
"surgeon performing open heart surgery under bright OR lights"

What to avoid
Overly long descriptions. Abstract concepts ("make it feel emotional"). Text instructions ("add subtitles"). Real people's names. Anything violent, explicit, or harmful.
Character limit
The input box accepts up to 280 characters. Keep it focused — shorter, specific descriptions often outperform long ones.
OPTIMIZE BUTTON
The ✦ Optimize button (requires free account) takes your raw input and adds category-specific style language and platform-specific parameters before you generate.
Use it when you want to see what JOVON adds to your prompt before generating. The optimized text appears in the prompt box and you can edit it further before hitting generate.
Use Optimize when you want a preview of the full prompt or when you want to manually tweak the output before generating.

Duration Slider
Set the intended video length (5–30 seconds). This is included in the prompt as context for the AI platform.
Aspect Ratio
9:16 (vertical/TikTok) · 16:9 (landscape) · 1:1 (square) — choose before generating.
Optimize For
TikTok · YouTube · Instagram — adds platform-specific framing notes to your prompt.
COPYING & USING PROMPTS
After generating, the result card shows three buttons:
↺ Redo
Clears the result and runs generation again with the same input. Use this to get a slightly different prompt variation.
⊡ Copy
Copies the full optimized prompt to your clipboard. This is the complete prompt — ready to paste directly into Seedance, Kling, Runway, or any other AI video tool.
↓ Save
Saves the prompt to your history (coming soon for Basic+ users).
Paste the prompt into your AI video platform's prompt field. Don't modify it unless you know what you're changing — the technical language JOVON adds is intentional.

DAILY LIMITS
Your daily prompt counter is shown in the top right of the generator (e.g. "Free · 3/10"). It resets at midnight UTC every day.
When you hit your limit, a banner appears with upgrade options. Anon users see a signup prompt. Free users see an upgrade prompt. Basic users see a "resets at midnight" message.
Limits reset at midnight UTC. If you're in the US this may be earlier in your evening. Plan your usage accordingly.
PRO TIPS
Start with the suggestion chips
After picking a category, suggestion chips appear below the prompt box. Click any chip to instantly fill the prompt box with a proven starting point. Edit from there.
Match your platform to your content
For wildlife and nature — Seedance 2.0. For people and dialogue — Kling or Hailuo. For abstract/artistic — Pika. For TikTok content — select TikTok platform for vertical-optimized prompts.
Shorter is often better
A focused 10-word description often outperforms a 50-word one. JOVON adds all the technical scaffolding — your job is to describe the subject clearly.
Use Redo for variations
The ↺ Redo button runs generation again with the same input. Use it to get slightly different prompt phrasings — useful when you want options.
Copy the full prompt
Always use the ⊡ Copy button rather than manually selecting the text. Copy captures the complete untruncated prompt, including all the technical language that doesn't always show in the result card preview.
