JOVON AI ("JOVON", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding it when you use jovon.ai.
1. Information We Collect
Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address and a hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and name from Google.
Usage data: We track how many prompts you generate per day to enforce plan limits. This data is stored in your account and resets daily.
Analytics: We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — pages visited, buttons clicked, time spent. This data is anonymized and does not include personally identifiable information.
Payment data: Payments are processed by Gumroad. We do not store or have access to your credit card information.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your JOVON account
- To enforce daily generation limits based on your plan
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset)
- To improve the generator based on usage patterns
- To contact you about your account or plan if necessary
3. What We Do Not Do
- We do not sell your personal data to any third party
- We do not use your prompts to train AI models
- We do not share your email with advertisers
- We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent
4. Data Storage & Security
Your account data is stored securely via Supabase, which uses industry-standard encryption. Usage counts are stored server-side in your account metadata. Anonymous usage (before signup) is tracked in your browser's local storage only and is never sent to our servers.
5. Cookies & Tracking
We use Google Analytics cookies to track site usage. These are analytics-only cookies — they do not track you across other websites. You can opt out of Google Analytics by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
6. Third-Party Services
JOVON uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Supabase — authentication and data storage
- Gumroad — payment processing
- Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Update or correct your account information
- Opt out of analytics tracking

8. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Daily usage data is reset each day. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days.
9. Children's Privacy
JOVON is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of JOVON after changes means you accept the updated policy.
